MissionField Studio • Built for church planters & nonprofits

Your first launch team. Your first stewardship cycle. The gap between them.

Studio is where under-resourced church planters and nonprofits ship one deliberate build — a launch pad, a stewardship cadence, or operational clarity — without hiring a developer or a major-gift officer to get there. Apply, take a 30-minute intake call, and ship the build that closes your next gap.

Three verticals. One studio.

Each build is scoped to the team we are serving — a first-year church plant needs something very different from a 12-year-old nonprofit with a mid-level donor program. Pick the vertical that names your reality.

🌱

Church planting teams

Launch pads, not landing pages. First-year churches get the launch comms they need on day one — soft-launch invitations, launch-team onboarding, first-time-guest follow-up, volunteer scheduling, and the small-group sign-up flow so the planter is not texting the list at 10 p.m.

🪙

Stewardship & major donors

Your yearly giving cycle, mid-level and major-gift follow-up, pledge tracking, and the receipting & acknowledgment cadence that keeps the people who write the largest checks feeling known. Built for executive directors and lead pastors who would rather be pastoring than running CRM exports.

🧭

Operational clarity

The pastor stops being the bottleneck. Admin and communications triage, SOP-driven handoffs, automation that catches what used to slip through. The work leaves the leader's inbox and lands in the workflow it was always supposed to be in.

A practitioner, not an agency.

Scott Anderson · Founder · Orange County, CA

Scott has spent the last fifteen years inside small teams — planting a church, leading operations at a regional nonprofit, and consulting for under-resourced teams who ship more than their headcount should let them. Studio is the part of the practice reserved for one team at a time: one intake call, one scoped build, one clean handoff.

The mission is simple — multiply the workers. A two-person pastoral staff should not be doing their own review-request flow. A solo development director should not be managing major-gift follow-up in a spreadsheet. The build ships, the team owns it, the leader gets their week back.

Questions church planters ask us.

The honest answers to the things people actually want to know before they apply.

Yes — that is exactly one of the verticals Studio was built for. Pre-launch planters usually need a launch pad: soft-launch invitation flow, launch-team onboarding, first-time-guest follow-up, volunteer sign-ups, and a small-group pipeline so you are not running your launch out of a personal text thread. We scope to what your next 90 days actually require, not a generic 12-month plan.

Studio is a single, scoped build — one deliverable, two weeks, flat-priced. The monthly retainer is for teams who already know what they want ongoing support on. Most Studio clients move into a retainer after their first build because the handoff surfaces exactly what the next three months should look like, but that is always a separate decision, never assumed.

Yes. The workshop is in-person Orange County by design, but Studio is remote-first — the intake call is on Zoom and the build ships wherever your team lives. We've shipped builds for church planters in the Midwest, nonprofits on the East Coast, and a missions org operating across three time zones. Geography is rarely the constraint; clarity of scope is.

One tightly scoped workflow — launch comms, stewardship cadence, donor follow-up, volunteer scheduling, or admin triage — delivered as a working automation plus a written SOP your staff can run without us. You leave the two-week mark owning a system you can explain to a volunteer on a Sunday morning, plus the Handoff plan for the next 30 days so adoption actually sticks.

Sometimes — and we'd rather find out on the intake call than guess here. If your current consultant is shipping well and you only need one scoped build to close a specific gap, Studio is usually a clean fit alongside them. If your current engagement has stalled, we'll say so honestly during the call. We turn down more applications than we take on, and that's the point — Studio only works when both sides actually see the gap the build closes.
